BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

In a step away from the California Department of Industrial Relation’s emergency temporary standard for workplace safety that calls for quarantining workers exposed to COVID-19, new guidelines say fully vaccinated workers need not quarantine for the prescribed two weeks.

According to a memo issued Monday by California’s Health and Human Services Agency, Department of Public Health, fully vaccinated workers may “refrain from quarantine and testing following a known exposure if asymptomatic” following a known exposure to the virus at work.

The memo also states that employers must still ensure that employees are following Cal/OSHA’s current rules for face coverings and requirements for testing.
