BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Insufficient fall protection remained the most frequently cited workplace safety violation in fiscal year 2020, according to research released Monday by the National Safety Council.

The Itasca, Illinois-based council released its top 10 most common Occupational Safety and Health Administration violations, with fall protection topping the list for the 10th consecutive year, followed by hazard communication and respiratory protection.

While hazard communication was also the No. 2 most cited OSHA violation in fiscal year 2019, respiratory protection moved up two spots from No. 5, possibly due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
