Vacasa, a vacation rental management company based in Portland, Oregon, on Wednesday released a list of great work-from-home-away-from-home options for those who work for upwards of 88% of U.S. companies that have offered telework as a way to curb the spread of COVID-19.
“With the summer months underway and travel restrictions still in place, one of the perks of working from home is that you can do it from just about anywhere,” Vacasa said in its statement. “We’ve rounded up some of our favorite vacation homes where settling in with your laptop and a cup of coffee will make working remotely not only easy, but memorable. These homes feature spectacular views, reliable WiFi, and activities to keep your family busy until quitting time. Isn’t that half the battle?”
Topping the list of six vacation homes is a “waterfront stunner” with “spectacular views” in Laclede, Idaho, boasting space for 18 guests — enough room for distancing your conference call from quarreling children perhaps? Other options include seaside retreats with panoramic views and shrub-surrounded lodges with outdoor activities galore.
