Employers CEO announces intention to resign

Employers Holdings Inc.’s president and CEO Douglas Dirks announced he intends to step down from the company in 2021, the workers compensation insurer announced in a statement Tuesday.
Mr. Dirks has been at the helm of Employers since 2005. In 2007, he took the company public; it was previously the mutual insurer Employers Insurance Co. of Nevada.
Employers’ board of directors has initiated a search to identify a successor. Mr. Dirks intends to step down April 1, 2021.
