BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Chicago skyline giving the green light in safety observation

Chicago, a city that dyes its river green for St. Patrick’s Day, will color its famous skyline green to observe National Safety Month, according to the Itasca, Illinois-based National Safety Council, an advocacy group whose logo is green.

Participating buildings will turn their lights green from June 3-10, according to a press release from the workplace safety organization, which worked with the city’s Building Owners and Managers Association of Chicago.

The operators of several iconic buildings, including the Wrigley Building and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois building, have agreed to participate, the National Safety Council noted in its release, calling for buildings in cities nationwide to go green in June.

“Chicago is literally lighting the way for safety,” Deborah A.P. Hersman, president and CEO of the National Safety Council, said in the press statement. “During National Safety Month, we bring attention to preventable deaths and efforts to ensure that no one gets hurt on our roadways, in our workplaces or anywhere in between. We are proud that our sweet home Chicago is leading that charge.”
