EPIC hires execs from Van Wyk for new Michigan office

EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants said Tuesday it will open an office in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and has hired two executives from rival Van Wyk Risk Solutions.
David Hop, most recently president of Van Wyk, will be managing principal for EPIC in Grand Rapids.
Dan Vander Baan, most recently executive vice president of Van Wyk, is now senior principal for EPIC.
Both report to Adam Meyerowitz, president of Midwest and Southeast Region, according to an email from a spokeswoman.
