BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Brian D. DeSoto

Great American Insurance Group has promoted Brian D. DeSoto to divisional president of its Great American Risk Solutions Division, the company said Monday.

Mr. DeSoto, who will be based in Cincinnati, succeeds Mark R. Lonneman, according to a company spokeswoman. Mr. Lonneman retired in April 2021.

Mr. DeSoto was most recently divisional senior vice president of Great American Risk Solutions.
