Risk Placement Services Inc. has hired former Willis Towers Watson PLC executive Jeff Harvey as executive vice president of casualty in its brokerage division, based in New York.
In the new role, Mr. Harvey will focus on growing RPS’ large casualty practice in the Northeast region, the Rolling Meadows, Illinois-based wholesale broking and managing general agent unit of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said Wednesday.
He will report to John Head, president, national brokerage, for RPS.
Mr. Harvey was previously excess liability practice leader for the Northeast for Willis Towers Watson where he handled some of the company’s most complex placements.
Risk Placement Services Inc. named Mark Gallagher as the leader of its national transportation practice, replacing Jimmy Proffitt, who has retired.
