EPIC adds former Aon execs to executive risk and cyber practice

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants said it has hired two executives for its executive risk and cyber practice from Aon PLC.
The San Francisco-based broker said John Prentis and Larry Bowlus will focus on large public, technology and financial institution executive liability coverages, including directors and officers liability, errors and omissions, general partnership liability, employment practices liability, fiduciary, crime, and kidnap and ransom. Both have been named managing principals.
EPIC said in its statement that Mr. Prentis most recently co-led Aon’s financial services group in San Francisco, providing advisory and placement services for a variety of executive lines.
It said Mr. Bowlus served as senior vice president and team leader within the same group, specializing in D&O and management liability insurance programs for public and private companies.
