Brown & Brown names wholesale brokerage segment president

Brown & Brown Inc. said Monday that Stephen M. Boyd has been promoted to executive vice president of the company and president of its wholesale brokerage segment.
He succeeds Anthony T. Strianese, who has been named chairman of the wholesale brokerage segment. Mr. Strianese will also remain an executive vice president of the company and continue to serve on its executive leadership team.
Mr. Boyd was most recently senior vice president of technology, innovation and digital strategy.
J. Powell Brown, president and CEO, said Mr. Strianese had for more than two decades driven growth in the wholesale brokerage segment.
