BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

John Keogh, executive vice chairman and chief operating officer of Chubb Group, has been named president, effective immediately.

Mr. Keogh will continue to report to Chairman and CEO Evan Greenberg, and his companywide responsibilities remain unchanged, Chubb Ltd. said in a statement Wednesday.

Mr. Keogh has served as COO since 2011. He joined the company, then ACE, in 2006 as chairman, insurance – overseas general, before being named vice chairman in 2010 and executive vice chairman in 2015, the statement said.

Prior to ACE, Mr. Keogh held a range of executive roles at American International Group Inc.

“The title of President more appropriately reflects John’s current wide-ranging responsibilities and importance to the success of our company and is in recognition of his exceptional contributions and leadership over the course of his 14 years as my partner and trusted colleague,” Mr. Greenberg said in the statement.
