Aspen taps Hiscox exec to lead claims for two units

Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd. on Thursday named longtime Hiscox Ltd. executive Tony Rai as head of claims for both Aspen Insurance UK Ltd. and Aspen Managing Agency Ltd.
Mr. Rai will join Aspen in early 2021 from Hiscox, where he has been head of London market claims since 2009 and has led and managed claims for the London market, reinsurance and special risks business units.
In his new role, Mr. Rai will lead claims for Aspen’s international operations, the Hamilton, Bermuda-based insurer said in a statement.
Mr. Rai will be based in London and report to Mike Sowa, group chief claims officer, and Richard Milner, who was appointed UK CEO in June.
