To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

AssuredPartners buys Florida trucking agency

AssuredPartners Inc. has acquired Transportation Insurance Advisors LLC, a specialist trucking agency in Sanford, Florida.

Transportation Insurance Advisors currently reports $14 million in annual revenue. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In a statement Tuesday, Lake Mary, Florida-based AssuredPartners said all 55 staff members at Transportation Insurance Advisors will continue to be led by Scott Light, the agency’s CEO.

Private equity-backed AssuredPartners is the 12th largest brokerage of U.S. business, according to the Business Insurance ranking. In 2019, it was the third most acquisitive brokerage in North America sealing 44 deals.
