James A. Kelley has been appointed president of Hanover Specialty Industrial Property, the Hanover Insurance Group Inc. said Tuesday.
Mr. Kelley, who will be responsible for complex high-hazard industrial businesses, replaces James L. Abraham, who will retire from the organization this month, the Worcester, Massachusetts-based insurer said in its statement.
Mr. Kelley, who began his career as a loss control consultant, most recently was senior vice president at Charlotte, North Carolina-based AmWINS Group Inc., where he oversaw a unit of nine multiline niche programs.
Hanover Insurance Group Inc. said Monday that London-based John Fowle has been named CEO of Chaucer Syndicates Ltd, a Lloyd’s of London unit of Hanover.
