BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

coronavirus

A Boca Raton, Florida, law firm on Thursday filed a class action against the People’s Republic of China, seeking “billions” over coronavirus, according to several media outlets.

Specifically, the Berman Law Group is alleging that the Chinese government “covered up” the dangers of coronavirus and that it knew that COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus, was “dangerous and capable of causing a pandemic, yet slowly acted, proverbially put their head in the sand, and/or covered it up for their own economic self-interest,” reads the complaint,

which names five plaintiffs from Florida.

The suit seeks class-action status for any American injured or affected by the virus, according to several news outlets that accessed the suit.

The firm, which initially invited the media to a news conference in their Boca Raton offices and later called it off, declined to comment further, the Palm Beach Post reported.
