Peter Carter has been named leader of Willis Towers Watson PLC’s global captive practice within its corporate risk and broking segment, succeeding Paul Owens, who has retired, the brokerage announced Monday.
Based in London, Mr. Carter will be part of the risk and analytics leadership team and will report to John Merkovsky, head of risk and analytics within corporate risk and broking, Willis Towers Watson said in a statement.
Mr. Carter was previously finance director for Willis Towers Watson’s investment, risk and reinsurance segment, and prior to joining the brokerage worked at HSBC Holdings PLC as regional head of business finance, retail banking and wealth management in Europe, the statement said.
Willis Towers Watson PLC on Thursday reported revenue of $1.99 billion in the third quarter of 2019, up 7% compared with the same quarter last year, and organic revenue growth of 6%.
