Woodruff Sawyer & Co. has hired a team of six former Willis Towers Watson PLC brokers in its Portland, Oregon, office, the San Francisco-based brokerage announced Tuesday.
The new hires include Ronan Eggleston, who was named senior vice president management liability; Jeff Friesen, senior vice president property/casualty; Dan Schaller, senior vice president of property/casualty; and client managers Cindy Jarrett, Megan Douglas and Sandra Suter.
Woodruff Sawyer is the 30th- largest brokerage of U.S. business with $138.5 million in 2018 brokerage revenue, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
Willis Re Inc. has obtained a temporary restraining order in U.S. District Court in New York enjoining a former broker, David Littell, from soliciting business from his former Willis Re clients on behalf of his new employer, a unit of Lockton Cos. LLC.
