QBE North America names head of claims

QBE North America named Eric Sanders to the newly created position of head of claims, effective immediately, the specialist insurer said in a statement Tuesday.
Mr. Sanders, based in Los Angeles, will direct claims operations across North America and report to Dan Franzetti, chief operating officer, QBE North America, the statement said.
He joined QBE in 2013 and was most recently senior vice president, commercial/alternative markets claims and third-party administrator management.
In addition to his role as COO, Mr. Franzetti had been chief claims officer.
