BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

A driving instructor allegedly wanted his students to speed through testing by hacking into his province’s backlogged road test waitlist, CBC/Radio-Canada reported Wednesday.

The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia investigators raided the home of a Richmond, British Columbia, driving instructor, and court documents revealed that students of the instructor allegedly were able to schedule road tests in just two days when others waited up to three months to prove their worth on the road, the Canadian news outlet reported.

According to the report, the instructor’s internet address was allegedly linked to transactions involving the booking of road test slots.

Although the instructor has not been charged with an offense, he could be charged with fraud for depriving others of road test appointments, said the news report.
