Alera appoints national property/casualty leader

Alera Group Inc. said Tuesday it has appointed industry veteran Mark Englert as national property/casualty practice leader.
Mr. Englert will continue to develop the brokerage’s property/casualty resources, working closely with firms across the United States to improve client experiences and build out new capabilities, Deerfield, Illinois-based Alera Group said in a statement.
Mr. Englert, based in New York, was previously a managing director at Valhalla, New York-based USI Insurance Services LLC.
He rejoined USI in 2017 when USI bought Wells Fargo’s insurance brokerage operations, according to his LinkedIn account.
