BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Paltrow’s Goop can no longer peddle products with empty promises

It’s settled: “Eggs” made of jade and quartz intended for vaginal insertion can’t balance hormones and regulate menstrual cycles. And floral essential oils cannot eliminate depression.

On Tuesday, Gwyneth Paltrow’s company, Goop, settled a lawsuit brought by prosecutors in 10 California jurisdictions, all claiming that the company’s questionable products, including vagina eggs, "were not supported by competent and reliable science,” Conde Nast reported on one of its news sites arstechnica.com

Goop has agreed to refund any customers who bought all-healing vaginal eggs or the Inner Judge Flower Essence Blend from Jan. 12, 2017, to Aug. 31, 2017, and will pay $145,000 in civil penalties, the outlet reported.

Ms. Paltrow’s company has also agreed to no longer make any claims "regarding the efficacy or effects of any of its products without possessing competent and reliable scientific evidence that substantiates the claims,” the article states.
