BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

EPIC expands financial services business with Iron Cove addition

Lou D’Agostino and his team from Iron Cove Partners L.L.C. team have joined EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants.

Mr. D’Agostino, who will join as principal, and his colleagues will be based in Epic’s Midtown New York office, reporting to EPIC’s Northeast region president, Thomas O’Neil, and operating as Iron Cove, a division of EPIC, the brokerage said Tuesday in a statement.

Prior to forming Iron Cove, which focused on the financial services industry, Mr. D’Agostino spent 10 years with broker Frank Crystal & Co., where he was a director in the financial services practice, the statement said.

“Lou and his team bring extensive experience and expertise in the financial services industry to EPIC,” Mr. O’Neill said in the statement, adding the move furthers “our commitment to the financial services sector in the Northeast and across the country.”

EPIC is the 15th-largest brokerage of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
