Everest Re adds global head of aerospace from Swiss Re

Everest Re Group Ltd. said Thursday that Georgios (George) Toulkeridis has been named to the newly created position of global head of aerospace reinsurance, effective Oct. 1.
Mr. Toulkeridis, who will be based in Zurich, comes to Everest Re from Swiss Re Ltd., where he was managing director and head of aviation and space reinsurance, Everest Re said in a statement.
He will lead the development of Everest Re’s underwriting strategy for aviation and space and support the continental European team in various areas outside of aviation, according to the statement.
