EPIC adds integrated risk solutions teamReprints
San Francisco-based EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants said Monday that former risk manager Maurice “Moe” Edwards and retail loss prevention expert Walter Palmer have joined the brokerage to form a new practice.
The practice, based in Houston, will operate as EPIC Integrated Risk Solutions, EPIC said in a statement.
Mr. Edwards joins EPIC as managing principal. He was most recently senior vice president of enterprise risk for Houston-based Mattress Firm Inc.
Mr. Palmer is the founder and president of PCG Solutions, where he worked with retail companies, across the U.S. and globally. He will join the organization as practice leader.
Retail loss prevention and supply chain veteran Kevin Ach will join as vice president of risk assurance, EPIC said, retail loss prevention veteran John Schroeder as vice president of asset protection, and finance executive Katie Tyrone as vice president of risk financing.
