BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Grumpy Cat copyright lawsuit a happy win for feline’s owner

Grumpy Cat finally has something to smile about, NPR reported Thursday.

The owner of the kitty, whose real name is Tardar Sauce, has been awarded $710,000 in a copyright infringement case.

On Monday, an eight-member jury decide in favor of cat owner Tabatha Bundesen’s suit against Grenade Beverage, the maker of Grumpy Cat Grumppuccino, the station reported.

Grumpy Cat, on the Forbes magazine list of Top Influencers, appears to be everywhere: internet memes, calendars and bestselling books on “feline philosophy,” NPR reported.

As the story goes, in 2013, at the height of this Grumpy Cat frenzy, Ms. Bundesen entered into a partnership agreement with father and son Nick and Paul Sandford to license and market the line of iced coffee using the cat's likeness, according to NPR, adding that “the deal went sour.”
