Hiscox offers coverage to financial services sector

Hamilton, Bermuda-based Hiscox Ltd. said Thursday it is introducing customized professional and management liability coverage for U.S. financial services firms.
Hiscox FS expands the insurer and reinsurer’s current offering to financial service firms and provides these firms with coverage for various aspects of their businesses through a streamlined platform, Hiscox said in a statement.
Hiscox FS enables firms to add additional protection against exposures beyond traditional insurance coverages, including for professional liability, cyber privacy and miscellaneous professional liability, through a single customizable policy, according to the statement.
The limit on the program is $5 million, according to a spokeswoman.
