BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Ironshore launches emergency response team for cyber claims

Ironshore Inc. on Tuesday said it is launching a computer emergency response team, or CERT, to manage cyber claims across all product lines.

CERT-Ironshore will be a dedicated computer response team of cyber claims coordinators representing each specialty lines division, the New York-based insurer said in a statement. The new unit will give policyholders a single point of contact for cyber risk claim coordination and collaboration, according to the statement.

Howard Panensky will serve as director of CERT-Ironshore, reporting to Mike Mitrovic, Ironshore’s global claims officer.

Mr. Panensky was previously the assistant vice president of claims, cyber and crime, at Ironshore Insurance, a Liberty Mutual Company, supervising all cyber liability, data protection, and privacy claims as well as all commercial crime claims including but not limited to employee theft, forgery and alteration, computer fraud and cyber deception, according to the Plantation, Florida-based CLM Alliance, where Mr. Panensky is a fellow and serves on the group’s Cyber Liability Committee.

In addition to offering technical advice and support in response to cyber security incidents, third-party expertise will be available to policyholders to help manage cyber security risk with selected vendors at pre-negotiated Ironshore rates.
