R-T Specialty opens Honolulu office

R-T Specialty L.L.C., a subsidiary of Chicago-based Ryan Specialty Group L.L.C., has opened a new Honolulu office that will be led by Jason A. Witthun and Marie-Louise D. Lundqvist, the company said Monday.
The Honolulu office handles all excess and surplus lines, including property catastrophe, commercial/residential property, general lability and professional liability, the statement said.
Both previously worked as brokers at First Risk Management Services Inc., a subsidiary of Honolulu-based First Insurance Co. of Hawaii, a member of the Tokio Marine Group, where Ms. Lundqvist specialized as a binding production underwriter, according to a Ryan Specialty spokeswoman.
