Marsh & McLennan names CFO of risk and insurance division

Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. has named New York-based Keith Walsh chief financial officer of the company’s risk and insurance services segment, which includes Marsh L.L.C. and Guy Carpenter & Co. L.L.C.
Mr. Walsh succeeds Courtney Leimkuhler, who is leaving the company to pursue an opportunity outside the industry, Marsh & McLennan said in a Thursday statement.
In this role, Mr. Walsh will also serve as chief financial officer of Marsh. His appointment is effective as of May 1, 2017. Previously, Mr. Walsh was global head of investor relations.
