Nomination deadline approaching for BI’s Break Out Awards
The nomination deadline is approaching for Business Insurance's 2017 Break Out Awards, which recognize the next generation of leaders in the insurance sector.
Succeeding the 40 Under 40 Broker Awards, which were only open to retail insurance brokers, the Break Out Awards are open to all up-and-coming managers and executives in the risk management and commercial property/casualty field.
Honorees from across the United States will be recognized for their leadership, expertise and professional skills and can be working in any area of the industry — risk managers, brokers, insurers, reinsurers, wholesalers, agencies, captive managers, third-party administrators and other service providers.
While there is no age limit, nominees must have worked in the industry for no more than 15 years. Nominees will have already established themselves in their careers and will be on a leadership trajectory.
The deadline for entries is April 3. Winners will be notified in late April, and regional awards events honoring the 40 winners — 10 from each of four regions – will be held in June.
