BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Security firms offer risk services for workforce travel

Two medical and security specialist firms are launching Global Risk Management Program, a service available for clients in the U.S., Canada and South America that is intended to provide tailored solutions for organization’s health and travel risk management responsibilities.

London-based International SOS and Control Risks said in their statement Thursday that the Global Risk Management Program, which will be based in Trevose, Pennsylvania, will provide an initial travel risk management road map assessment that reviews an organization’s travel risk profile to determine a program of preventative measures combined with critical issues response mechanisms.

"Health and travel safety threats come in a wide range of guises and in today's environment can often be complex, requiring the understanding, response and support of a number of health and security risk related services.

Organizations are seeking a simple, effective and holistic program that helps them and their mobile workforce prepare and manage the unexpected, both medically and security related," said Jersey City, New Jersey-based Grant Jeffery, CEO Americas, International SOS, in the statement.

"With direct market feedback, we developed this program to enable organizations to execute on global business initiatives while helping them to fulfill their Duty of Care responsibilities for their business travelers and international assignees."
