BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Energi of Canada Ltd. on Monday said it has launched property/casualty programs for energy businesses in parts of western and Atlantic Canada.

The program will provide risk management solutions and insurance offerings for energy-related risks in fuel distribution, fuel transportation, energy contractors, renewable energy and alternative energy solutions, Toronto-based Energi of Canada said in a statement.

The program will be offered in Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island first and will expand to other provinces in the coming months, according to the statement.

“Our expansion into other parts of Canada is an exciting step forward for us, and we trust that brokers and customers will see the value and support we bring to the energy insurance business,” Tony Passarelli, Energi of Canada’s general manager and vice president of distribution, said in the statement. “We hope to continue our international growth and eventually offer our full coverage line to clients throughout Canada.”
