Edgewood Partners Insurance Center, which does business as EPIC, on Monday said it has formed EPIC National Construction Specialty Group.
Brian McDonnell joins the group as a managing principal in EPIC’s Concord, California, office. In this role, Mr. McDonnell will be responsible for building and leading a construction-focused national “center of excellence,” developing, integrating and delivering key technical resources, leading-edge risk solutions and new tools, EPIC said in a statement.
Previously, Mr. McDonnell was senior vice president, director of construction services at Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA Inc.
“Brian and his team will deepen our Construction Industry bench strength, reinforce our commitment to client service excellence across the country, and unify our voice to the carriers and larger insurance and risk management marketplace,” Thomas O’Neil, EPIC West region president, said in the statement.
San Francisco-based insurance broker and consultant Edgewood Partners Insurance Center has acquired employee benefits consulting firm Ascende Inc., expanding the broker's footprint in the Southwest.
