Former Aon exec joins JLT Specialty USA as senior vice president

JLT Specialty USA, a subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C. said it has appointed former Aon exec Brad Kotlewski senior vice president.
Mr. Kotlewski will join JLT's financial lines group as the U.S. private equity product leader. In this role he will focus on delivering financial insurance-based products to the private equity sector, JLT said in a Thursday statement.
Previously, Mr. Kotlewski was managing director at Aon Risk Solutions. Prior to this he was senior vice president at Marsh L.L.C. and before that he was a senior underwriter at American International Group Inc.
The New York-based executive is one of several former Aon brokers who have joined JLT over the last few years.
“Brad has spent the past fifteen years working assiduously to become one of the nation's premier brokers in the private equity arena. He brings unparalleled transactional and coverage expertise to JLT. I cannot emphasize enough what an important and powerful hire this is to our firm,” Jim Pierce, chairman of JLT Specialty USA said in the statement.
