HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Jim Wallace has been elected chair of the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America, PCI announced Tuesday.
Mr. Wallace, who is chairman, president and CEO of GuideOne Mutual Insurance Co. of West Des Moines, Iowa, was elected Tuesday during the group's annual meeting in Hollywood, Florida.
He succeeds Terry Cavanaugh, president and CEO of Erie, Pennsylvania-based Erie Insurance Co.
Also elected during the meeting were John Barbagallo, commercial lines group president of Mayfield, Ohio-based Progressive Insurance Group, as first vice chair; and Kurt Bock, CEO of Bloomington, Illinois-based Country Financial, as second vice chair.
The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America on Wednesday elected Mark Wachholz as senior vice president, chief financial officer and assistant treasurer.
