Expanding insurance brokerage makes Northeast region hires

Beecher Carlson Insurance Services L.L.C. has hired a managing director and a Northeast property practice leader, the Atlanta-based broker announced Wednesday.

In his newly created role as managing director, Evan Bull will be based in New York, where he will focus on new business development strategies in the Northeast region. Mr. Bull will report to John Kerns, managing director of Beecher Carlson's Northeast region, according to a company statement. Previously, Mr. Bull was the national property practice leader for Farmington Hills, Michigan-based Burns & Wilcox Ltd. brokers.

In her newly created position as Northeast property practice leader, Boston-based Molly Nolan will be responsible for brokering, servicing and assisting in production on all complex property accounts, the statement said.

Ms. Nolan previously was a senior partner for Lloyd & Partners Ltd. and ran its North American property team from 2010 through 2014.
