National distributor acquires three agencies

Huntington Beach, California-based national insurance distribution company Confie Seguros Holding II Co. said Monday it has acquired Dallas-based Insurance King Auto Agency L.L.C., West Seneca, New York-based Schunke Insurance Agency Inc., and Bellport, New York-based Reynolds & Reynolds Agency Inc.

The terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Insurance King Auto Agency is a family-owned company that writes personal lines insurance. Schunke Insurance Agency is an independent insurance agency that writes personal lines and small commercial insurance. Reynolds & Reynolds Agency writes personal lines insurance.

King Auto, Schunke Insurance, and Reynolds & Reynolds will retain their current staff and leadership. For now all three brokerages will keep their names, according to a Confie spokesman.
