Willis Group Holdings P.L.C. has named Rafal Walkiewicz and Michael Guo as co-CEOs to lead Willis Capital Markets & Advisory, the firm’s insurance investment banking business.
They will succeed Tony Ursano, who resigned from Willis Capital Markets & Advisory in early April, according to a spokesman. The spokesman had no further information on Mr. Ursano’s plans.
Mr. Walkiewicz joined Willis Capital Markets & Advisory as a managing director in 2014, Willis Group said. Prior to that, he served with Goldman Sachs & Co.’s financial institutions group.
Mr. Guo was previously head of Asia with Willis Capital Markets & Advisory, and before that served as a partner and managing director of Boston Consulting Group’s financial services practice, according to the statement.
“Rafal, Michael and the whole WCMA leadership team will ensure that our analytical capabilities, strength in reinsurance and capital markets experience are deployed to achieve the very best outcomes for our clients,” Willis Group CEO Dominic Casserley said in the statement.
Energy insurers should capitalize on what Willis Group Holdings P.L.C. is calling the most competitive energy insurance market in 15 years, the company said in a statement Thursday.
