Willis Bermuda announces new chairman

Paul Scope will head Willis Bermuda Ltd. as chairman, Willis Group Holdings P.L.C. announced Thursday.
Mr. Scope, formerly the chairman and CEO of Hamilton, Bermuda-based JLT Park Ltd., the specialty insurance and reinsurance arm of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C., will oversee all of Willis’ Bermuda-based operations, according to a statement.
“Paul is a highly-respected figure in the industry with a distinguished list of achievements,” Steve Hearn, deputy CEO of Willis Group, said in the statement. “I am personally delighted to welcome him to Willis, where his unique skills and experiences will allow him to drive the continued development of our client offerings and our business.”
