Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford Ltd.’s North America unit has made three senior executive appointments.
New York-based William K. Ludington joins CGSC North America as executive vice president for carrier management and alternative markets, the broker said Monday in a statement. Mr. Ludington was previously head of the U.S. structured products sales team at Canaccord Genuity Inc., according to the statement.
Mark Smith, former managing director and a member of the executive committee at R-T Specialty L.L.C., has been named senior adviser, CGSC North America said. He will be based in New York.
Finally, New York-based Mason Power joins as chief marketing officer, CGSC North America said. According to the statement, Mr. Power was most recently chief marketing officer of private equity software provider iLevel Solutions.
All will report to the CEO of CGSC North America,Tom Ruggieri, the founder of Advisen Ltd. who joined CGSC in October 2014.
Advisen Ltd. founder Thomas P. Ruggieri will join Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford Ltd. as president and CEO of its North American operations on Oct. 10, the wholesale broker said Monday.
