Chubb names Jalil Rehman as Europe operations CEO

The Chubb Group of Insurance Cos. on Tuesday said it has appointed Jalil Rehman as CEO of its European operations.
Mr. Rehman, who has worked at Chubb for the past 24 years, previously was European claims manager, the company said in a statement.
“Jalil Rehman is a highly regarded insurance practitioner and has gained extensive exposure to clients and brokers in his time in the industry, providing him with a valuable market perspective,” Chris Giles, Chubb’s international field operations manager, said in the statement.
Mr. Rehman, who will be based in London, replaces Michael Casella, who is assuming the newly created role of global alternative markets field officer.
In his new role to develop strategies for Chubb’s alternative market capabilities, Mr. Casella will relocate to Chubb’s global headquarters in Warren, New Jersey.
