BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

WILMINGTON, Del.—The University of Delaware has teamed with the Delaware Department of Insurance to offer a professional development certificate program in captive insurance.

In a statement, the university said the certificate program is aimed at financial and insurance service professionals who want to offer captive insurance options to their clients and are interested in gaining additional expertise in aspects of captive insurance. It is scheduled to take place over 14 three-hour weeknight sessions from April 18 to June 6 on the University of Delaware’s Wilmington campus.

The university said topics in the certificate program will be taught by faculty who are certified professionals in the applicable area and recognized leaders in the captive insurance industry. Topics will include captive operations, capital planning, accounting and regulation, and captive applications for corporate enterprise.
