BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Technical guidelines for telecommunications issued

BRUSSELS—The European Network and Information Security Agency has issued two technical guidelines for telecommunications operators in the European Union, the agency said Tuesday.

The first guideline describes how to implement the mandatory cyber security incident reporting scheme for telecom operators, while the second describes specific security measures telecom operators should take.

ENISA said in its announcement that new telecommunications legislation, among other things, offers protection for consumers against security breaches, requiring telecom operators to report security incidents and to take security measures to enable secure and uninterrupted delivery of communication services over European telecommunication networks.

The guidelines are available here.

In September, ENISA issued a guideline on building effective information technology security public-private partnerships, with 36 recommendations on building such partnerships.
