NEW YORK—Marsh Inc. has appointed David Batchelor head of its international division, effective immediately, the company said Tuesday.
Mr. Batchelor, who will continue in his role as CEO of Marsh’s Europe, Middle East and Africa division through the rest of this year, succeeds Alex Moczarski, who this year was appointed CEO and president of Guy Carpenter & Co. L.L.C., Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc.’s reinsurance brokerage division.
A replacement for Mr. Batchelor at Marsh’s EMEA arm had not yet been named, a Marsh spokesman said.
Mr. Batchelor will relocate to New York from London to head the international division, which is comprised of all Marsh operations outside of North America.
NEW YORK—Daniel S. Glaser has been appointed to the new post of group president and chief operating officer of the Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc., MMC said Wednesday.
