BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Bart Hedges takes over as CEO at reinsurer Greenlight Capital

GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands—Bart Hedges has taken the helm as CEO of reinsurer Greenlight Capital Re Ltd.

He succeeds Len Goldberg, who announced in May that he would retire Aug. 15 and be succeeded by Mr. Hedges.

Mr. Hedges joined the Cayman Islands-based company in 2006 as president and chief underwriting officer.

In addition to taking over as CEO effective Monday, Mr. Hedges has been appointed to serve on the company’s board of directors and on the boards of operating subsidiaries Greenlight Reinsurance Ltd. and Greenlight Reinsurance Ireland Ltd.

Mr. Goldberg will remain on the board.
