BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Perils lowers insured loss estimate for European storms to $360 million

Perils A.G. has placed its third estimate of insured losses from European windstorms Elon-Felix at €328 million ($361 million), reported Artemis.bm.

The recent estimate of insured losses is less than its previous estimate of €335 million. The windstorms hit Europe in January. Majority of the insured losses occurred in the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Perils will place a fourth estimate of the losses in January 2016.
