BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Karen Ignagni, the longtime head of America's Health Insurance Plans, is leaving the industry's lobbying group to become president and CEO of EmblemHealth, an insurer based in New York.

She will replace Frank Branchini, effective Sept. 1. Mr. Branchini has led EmblemHealth for 30 years and will stay on as chair of the insurance company's board of directors.

Ms. Ignagni said in a statement that she is “honored to join this unique not-for-profit health plan at such an important time.”

EmblemHealth provides health coverage to 3.2 million people.

Bob Herman writes for Modern Healthcare, a sister publication of Business Insurance.
