BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Cyber attacks on UK law firms continue to rise

A recent survey by PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P. found that 73% of the United Kingdom's top 100 law firms were the target of cyber attacks in the last two years, Legal Week reported. The prevalence of cyber attacks has grown by more than 60% in two years, with the number of attacks rising from 45 in 2013-14, to 62 in 2014-15, to 73 in 2015-16. Almost 90% of the law firms in the top 25 list faced cyber attacks in 2015-16. Email phishing has been cited as the most common security incident faced by the firms, the survey said.
